The main exhibition area will be in 1st Avenue's event space on the second floor. This year, we'll be part of George Town Festival with many other exciting programmes happening around us from 1 - 9 August as well!

The ABGF 18-Card Game Design Contest is back for 2026!
18 cards may seem like a restriction, but you can do unlimited things with 18 cards if you put your mind to it. This 18-card design competition is a great way for all Asian designers to stretch their design imagination and soar to greater heights.
Submissions are accepted from 1 May - 1 June 2026 (11:59pm GMT+8).

LUMA
LUMA is the creative studio arm of LiveWire! Media, initiated in 2012 to light up arts and culture in Malaysia through media production and board game creation.
While documenting cultural heritage through tabletop games has led to publishing games crafted by local game designers and artists, organizing the Malaysian edition of the Asian Board Games Festival (ABGF MY) has been part of the vision to shine a spotlight on tabletop games in the region and bring an interactive celebration of Asian culture to tables around the world.
Origame
Proudly created by Origame, the Asian Board Games Festival (ABGF) is the largest English-speaking board game convention in Asia. First held in 2019, this year marks the fifth run of the festival in Singapore, and the second in Malaysia.
ABGF expresses Origame's mission of bringing board games to every household and family in Asia.
