Ages 8+. 30-45 minutes playtime. 2-4 players.
In the late Middle Ages, northern Europe is dominated economically by an alliance of cities known as the Hanseatic League. Its central city, Lübeck, enjoys such prosperity that it has come to be called the Queen of the Hansa. Travel between 4 cities and become the greatest merchant in the Middle Ages. The Queen of Hansa is a card-picking and hand-management game in which you repeatedly trade with four cities to expand your influence.
Each player, as one of the merchants under the Hanseatic League, conducts trade with four cities, based in the free city of Lübeck, and strengthens his or her influence. On the other hand, it is important not only to trade with the city, but also to contribute to Lübeck's parliament. Manipulate the prosperity of each city by raising or lowering its reputation.
At the end of the three rounds, the player with the most profit will be the greatest merchant in the Middle Ages and win the game.
